DR. JORGE PERALTA

When Dr. Jorge (pronounced George) Peralta first began his own orthodontic treatment at the age of thirteen, he thought it was a rite of passage experienced predominantly by kids his age. It was not until years later while he was in dental school that he saw orthodontics through a different lens: a true solution to many of today’s dental problems. Transformative, comprehensive and often prophylactic in nature, orthodontics appealed to Dr. Peralta because it allowed him to create positive experiences with lasting benefits.

His path to dentistry began at the University of Nevada, Reno where he studied biochemistry. Because of his exceptional academic achievements as an undergraduate, he was granted early acceptance to Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, one of the nation’s most elite dental schools. After graduating near the top of his dental school class and receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Peralta went on to receive his Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Premier Study Club, South Sound Multi-Disciplinary Study Club, Burien Study Club and West Seattle Study Club. He regularly attends continuing education courses and lectures on his experience in treating to the ideal functional and aesthetic outcome. His peers have consistently chosen him as one of Seattle Met Magazine’s Top Dentists!

Dr. Peralta lives in West Seattle with his wife, Erin, and young daughter, Emery. He is committed to the Burien and West Seattle communities and is involved in many local school and non-profit organizations. In his spare time, Dr. Peralta enjoys spending time with his family, building and collecting vintage watches, and cycling.

Since 2001, the field of orthodontics has brought Christi, this “former shy person”, out of her shell. She came to work for Dr. Peralta in 2015 as the office manager and has enjoyed connecting with patients over their newfound confidence from their transformed smiles. When she is not FaceTiming with her family, this proud mom and grandma spends most of her time with her pups Jax and Reba, and cats McLovin and Missy.

Rossana has been an orthodontic assistant for over 25 years. She was drawn to this career because it allows her to work with her hands and still connect emotionally with patients while helping to transform their smiles. Over the years, Rossana has helped thousands of patients take great care of their teeth by giving them the most thorough oral hygiene instructions available. She loves to spend time with her two children, working out and during football season, cheering for the Seahawks every Sunday!

Stephanie enjoys working in the field of orthodontics because she loves seeing the impact it makes in the self-esteem of our patients. During her recent orthodontic experience as an adult, she realized that having braces encouraged her to smile much more than normal because she was proud of the changes that were occurring over time. From this experience she learned how the act of smiling is truly contagious! She has two sons and spends most of her time cheering them on as they play football.

Amanda started her dental career in 2009 working as a lead pediatric assistant and fell in love with creating a positive outlook on dentistry for little ones from the start. This passion has carried with her as she transitioned into the front office in orthodontics. She cherishes the relationships developed with her patients and devotes her day to giving them the premier care they deserve. Outside of dentistry, she and her family spend most of their time cooking, camping and spending time together.

Jacqueline has experience in all roles of an orthodontic office. From scheduling coordinator, to treatment coordinator, to lead clinical assistant, she has built her expertise over the past ten years. She loves working in orthodontics for many reasons, but particularly because she can build friendships with patients throughout their treatment and witness how orthodontics restores their health, function and a beautiful aesthetic appearance. Whether it is going to warm beaches with great food or packing up the car to go on a spontaneous road trip, Jacqueline enjoys traveling with her family.

As Dr. Peralta’s wife, Erin has been involved in the practice since 2008 in various capacities. Whether as the office manager or offering support when working from home while caring for her daughter, Erin has carried with her a passion for customer service and the power that orthodontics has to transform lives. She feels fortunate to be a part of an incredible community with caring people and makes contributing where she can a priority. In her free time she enjoys running, cooking and spending time with her family.
